Another Siri exclusive Cydia draw called Lingual has just been released by the CodeThemed aggroup that extends Siri’s functionality to vocalise translation. Lingual allows movement from arts to over 30 languages. The developers hit said that they’re also looking to include movement to arts in a future update. The tweak pulls in results using Microsoft’s Bing Translate API as a backend, though it isn’t as good as Google’s alter and ofttimes fails to correctly alter phrases. Nonetheless, the draw works really well.
Lingual is pretty ultimate to use. Simply establish the draw and speak to Siri, âtranslate something to [language]â or âwhatâs something in [language]â. Below is the itemize of languages currently supported:
Arabic, Czech, Danish, German, Estonian, Finnish, French, Dutch, Greek, Hebrew, Haitian, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Lithuanian, Latvian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Spanish, Russian, Slovak, Slovene, Swedish, Thai, Turkish, Ukranian, Vietnamese, and Simplified and Traditional Chinese.
Lingual is acquirable as a free download in Cydia via BigBoss repo. Here’s a lowercase recording of it in action:
