Apple’s Senior VP of Industrial Design Jony Ive Awarded a Knighthood

The BBC reports Apple’s notable Senior Vice President of Industrial Design, Jony Ive has received a knighthood as conception of the New Year Honours list. We can today call him Sir Jonathan Ive as he is today a Knight Commander of the nation Empire (KBE). His honor was modify appreciated by Phil Schiller on twitter.

He described the take as “absolutely thrilling” and said he was “both humbled and truly grateful”.

Mr Ive added: “I am keenly alive that I benefit from a wonderful tradition in the UK of designing and making.

“I discovered at an early geezerhood that all I’ve ever wanted to do is design.”
